Kids Club

Kids Club was SO fun. We used the theme of Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat.
So at the end of the week, having entertained 80+ kids each day - we were shattered...all ready to start the new school year!

So cool - in Poole

It was great getting to see Pete, Caroline, Jess, Ciara and Aidan. They moved (from Sheffield) into their new house in Poole about 3 weeks previously but looked incredibly settled and at home. We got to explore their near by beaches and go on a sailing trip! Simon and Sue came for a day too. This really felt like the last fling of summer before heading back to Bristol to get ready for the kids club and the new term.

Glapwell

We than had a bit of time catching up with family. Jaedan had his real birthday. He got a remote controlled aeroplane which after a bit of 'flight practice' went quite a way!

Sumptuous Time Away!!

For a birthday treat Mal and I had a fantastic time away at Dannah Farm. The hot tub looking over the fields was just amazing!

Summer Meanderings!

We went to stay with Brenda for a few days.
Got to go on walks, play a bit of golf and then a fantastic trip to Hever Castle. Having just watched 'The Other Boelyn Girl' we were 'into' the history of it all.
With August being the month for birthday's (including Mal turning 40!!!) we had a special meal out for Mal's favourite - LobsterThermidor.
